OAT BETA GLUCAN
OatWell® oat bran is a natural ingredient with unique properties for cereals such as extruded & cooked crisps and flakes. The inclusion level of beta-glucan from OatWell® oat bran can be well adapted for health benefits in cholesterol lowering and reduced glycemic index. Cereals with added OatWell® oat bran are used as fortification in breakfast mueslis and also designed as RTE cereals. Approved cholesterol lowering health claim: "Cereals with OatWell® to help actively reduce cholesterol".
(Product contains at least 0.75g beta-glucan per serving which is one quarter of the 3g suggested daily intake)
SUGAR SUBSTITUTES
The utilisation of sugar substitutes helps to produce reduced calorie, low glycaemic index cereals and bars with a range of other potential health benefits including added fibre, prebiotic effect, increased satiety and unique dental properties without impacting on the quality of the finished product.
